Sole founder of this successful independent charter middle school. I was responsible for establishing every aspect of the school leadership and management. This included curriculum, pedagogy, HR, main office policy and procedures, data analysis, compliance with district/state/federal regulations, special education, gifted programs, hiring/evaluating faculty and staff, developing a non-profit board, community relations, grant writing/fundraising, facilities development including city/state regulations and procedures, parent engagement and managing the campus. For the first 8 years, I was both the Executive Director and the Principal. In 2013, we grew to a size that supported separating the positions and I continue to serve as the Executive Director, supporting a principal on campus.
