Act as a resource to providers and staff by resolving issues and responding to email requests in a timely and effective manner Responsible for answering and sending emails from different internal departments Assist supervisor with work-related projects. Leave internal notes for follow-up with the team Follow up on medical notes tickets/claims submitted for review Follow up with providers as necessary for clarification of clinical documentation of patients’ status Notify the healthcare providers of denials reviewed by the Medical Director. Collect and prepare medical records for review when appropriate or requested. Handle escalated provider calls from other Clinical Admin Coordinators. Complete cross-training and maintain knowledge of multiple contracts/clients to support coverage needs across the business. Direct providers/members to contracted provider networks and facilities Use, protect, and disclose Optum members\'/patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with HIPPA standards.
