Prior to working at Cedars-Sinai, Mylene served as Special Employment Counsel to Proskauer Rose LLP in its Los Angeles Labor and Employment Department for more than seven years where she was also dedicated to litigating and advising employers in the area of employment law. Prior to joining Proskauer, Mylene was Executive Counsel at The Walt Disney Company where she represented The Walt Disney Company and ABC, Inc, and their affiliated companies in all aspects of litigation and advice, including employment, wage and hour, personal injury and contract disputes. Mylene began her legal career at Hill Wynne Troop & Meisinger (a.k.a. Troop Steuber Pasich Reddick & Tobey) in its Labor and Employment Department where she spent seven years after graduating from Loyola Law School.

   Reporting directly to the SVP, Human Resources (CHRO) and the SVP, Legal Affairs and General Counsel, responsible for leading multiple teams that manage all aspects of HR Legal and Compliance, including regulatory, employment-related litigation and labor relations. • Responsible for managing the employment litigation function for Cedars-Sinai and its affiliates, including driving strategy and managing outside counsel including internal and external budgets related to litigation.• Personally manage employment litigation of significance.• Personally responsible for driving strategy and results in line with the mission and values of Cedars-Sinai, and providing daily advice and counsel to the health system’s various divisions and affiliates, and their physician and non-physician leadership. • Regularly work with senior leadership on matters of significance related to organizational initiatives and projects. • Directly manage a department of 13 consisting of managers and professional staff. • Regularly prepare and present to internal groups, including legal updates and training modules.
