About Myk Willis
I\'m a hands-on architect and software developer with a track record of delivering large-scale and commercially-successful platforms and distributed systems across several industries. I\'ve founded several companies, both as CTO and CEO, and have a deep love of and appreciation for the work that founders do.As CTO at Redirect Ventures, an early-stage venture studio, I am actively involved in the design and implementation of the core platforms supporting our portfolio companies. I focus on ensuring our technology work delivers clear value for our customers, including Verizon Wireless, Condé Nast, ESPN, and major UK telecoms. This focus led to our AI search business being acquired by Search.com in December 2025, and we have numerous other spin-out companies in various stages of operation.Before Redirect, I built a top-10 mobile website (50M+ users), core distributed systems at Citrix, and spent time in Windows kernel internals. That foundation shapes how I think about building things that hold up, lessons that I try to apply not just to technology platforms, but more broadly to companies as a whole.
