    2015: Recognized as Citizen of The Year by the Chi Gamma Gamma Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity for expanding college access for first generation students and increasing Black male achievement.2015: Recipient of the Key to the City of Lake City, SC for my work in Florence School District 3 resulting in the first Gates Millennium Scholars, Meyerhoff Scholar, Torch Scholar, and students offered admission to such highly selective schools as Bates, Northeastern, UMBC, and Williams in the history of the school district.2018: Developed, designed, and launched the Foundation for Ensuring Access and Equity website, which includes a proprietary research-responsive and culturally relevant online curriculum providing comprehensive career and college planning guidance from the 6th grade through the 12th grade.2020: Recipient of the Magna Award by the National School Boards Association for our partnership with Guilford County Schools expanding postsecondary access for first generation and refugee students through the First Generation Student Ambassadors College Cohort resulting in students being offered admission, together with full scholarships, to such schools as Amherst College, Bowdoin College, Duke, Elon University, High Point University, North Carolina A&T, North Carolina Central, Northeastern University, Tuskegee University, UNC-Wilmington, University Richmond, and Wake Forest.2024: Over the life of our program in Pinellas County Schools (FL), the College Cohort Program resulted in first generation and students from under-resourced families gaining admission, together with full scholarships, to such schools as Amherst College, Brown University, Caltech, FAMU, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Chicago, and Swarthmore College. Students were also selected as Jack Kent Cooke College Scholars, University of Chicago Odyssey Scholars, QuestBridge Scholars, Yale Young Global Scholars, and the MIT MITES program.
