About Michael Witt
Recognized in the Purdue Book of Great Teachers with the Charles B. Murphy Award. I lead the Engineering in the World of Data Learning Community, which is made up of Purdue faculty and first-year engineering students who share an interest in data science. I\'m an associate professor and the head of the Distributed Data Curation Center (D2C2) at the Purdue University Libraries and School of Information Studies. I am the creator and was the manager of PURR, the Purdue University Research Repository (http://purr.purdue.edu) service for 10 years. With colleagues at the KIT, I lead the re3data registry of research data repositories, http://re3data.org.
