ABOUT MORITZ WINTERROTH

I´m a passionate, sociable and motivated young professional with a strong background in environmental policy, international cooperation and sustainable development. I care a lot about climate change and environmental degradation and am a firm believer in the importance of environmental justice (who is not!). Since graduating high school I have been lucky to gain 7 years of international experience, living in 5 different countries, and speaking three (and a half) languages. In my time at the Agency for Business & Economic Development (AWE), I worked primarily on the African German Young Leaders in Business Program (AGYLE) and the Ukraine Info-Desk for the private sector. In terms of events, I supported the planning and execution of Latin America Day 2022 in Hamburg, the \"Women in Business\" event series and several visits of high-level political delegations. After taking some time to work with refugees in the Ukraine Arrival Center Tegel (UAX) in Berlin, I am now working on stakeholder engagement and communication in several EU Horizon projects for environmental research and conservation. My primary projects include: WILDCARD, SUPERB and JustNature. When I´m not working you´ll probably find me on the Yoga mat or in the kitchen cooking my way around the world.
