She was the Public Relations and Special Events Coordinator for the Town of Mount Pleasant before starting her own PR company, Whitbeck Public Relations. She managed this business for 19 years. All the while she and her husband invested in real estate, specifically East of the Cooper. They have built several homes, and she manages their rental properties.In 2007, Michelle decided to become a licensed realtor so as to flip houses with her husband. But the market had other plans for them. With the downturn in the economy, Michelle used her knowledge and experience instead to help others sell their properties during the difficult time, and assisted buyers to find homes that now have become great investments.Michelle performs thorough research on the market to help her clients make sound decisions. For newcomers, she offers them a personal tour to help choose the right area for their families. She can share her knowledge about area schools, neighborhoods that are in close proximity to your work, the best appreciating areas, flood zones, estimated property taxes, estimated closing costs, etc. Whether you\'re a first-time home buyer or someone who has bought in the past, Michelle\'s attention to detail will ensure the purchase process gets to closing in a timely manner. She stays in touch with her clients and is always available to answer questions and to provide a list of reliable contractors to help with maintaining their largest asset.
