My current work is with our rural ISPs on their day-to-day, break-fix issues, complemented with longer-term, project-based optimizations/upgrades to their networks and services. We primarily deal with members’ edge/core layer 3 gear, mainly Juniper and Cisco, and understand how to interoperate with popular subscriber access gear, such as, Adtran and Calix. We assist with most aspects related to a provider’s IP network including ARIN management/requests, configure/deploy devices, troubleshooting, and traffic data analysis.
