About Michael van Den Bossche
The Data Bug is real. I first caught it over a decade ago when I built homemade weather stations using Arduino technology to gather and analyze environmental data. Deploying six stations in a field, each collecting sensor readings every few seconds, provided a wealth of raw data—and the challenge of making it usable. That experience taught me the importance of cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to answer complex research questions and effectively communicate insights. It also sparked my passion for data science as a powerful and evolving toolkit that drives meaningful solutions.Fast forward to today, I thrive on collaborating with talented teams to take projects from concept to completion, delivering impactful outcomes. Whether it’s developing an application that empowers providers and enhances patient care or tackling a new analytical challenge, I find immense satisfaction in using data to make a difference—while expanding my skillset along the way.
