Responsible for managing Early Phase Clinical Trials, providing a central point of contact and escalation for various functional teams (principal investigators, clinical, regulatory, data management, biostatistics, medical writing, logistics, contracts, finance, medical and pharmacovigilance). Ensuring successful delivery of projects/programs (on time, on budget, to the highest quality) compliant with ICH, GCP, and other applicable documents and regulations. Actively communicating with sponsors and internal groups, ensuring they have all necessary information on project progress (risk analyses, what-if scenarios, contingency plans, technical information, significant changes of any kind, etc). Leading regular team meetings to ensure project objectives are met, and communicating the scope of work, timelines, and technical information. Managing sponsor relationships, coordinating vendor services, and ensuring the project is completed within budget, schedule, and contract specifications. Undertaking various duties related to leadership, management, and team development, providing performance feedback, tracking progress, holding lessons learned meetings, monitoring study timelines, audits, managing CIS. Managing the project budget including providing input into revenue recognition, milestone payments and monthly pass through invoices. Initiating and managing IRB/EC and RA submissions (when applicable) approval process with relevant team members. Implementing and instigating process improvements within the project. Leading end-of-study meetings to document and pass on lessons learned information.
