The commercial Airline landscape these days is marked by the move to new machine learning and AI tools that facilitate unlocking ever larger and more complex datasets. Along with this, airline data is also evolving with changes in distribution, and #NDC will further accelerate this change. As a result, airlines and their supporting RM systems will undergo more rapid change than usual. This will necessitate both new data sources (as indirect data becomes less relevant) and new models to separate the signal from the data noise and improve profitability. Without change, RM models of the past will soon be obsolete and the opportunity to monetize the new distribution landscape may accrue to a more nimble competitor.I’ve joined the Garner Network as an Advisor to help you be the nimble competitor and make the transition.
