Liberty National currently is limited to 5 numeric digits for agent numbers. This project will change this to 7 numeric digits. With increased recruiting the available pool of numbers has dwindled to a runaway. This will impact all applications where an agent number is used.Responsibilities: My main responsibilities are technical design, coding, testing, and implementation of changes, coordinate with offshore team to keep track of work, review team members work. Additional responsibilities are coordinating system testing/UAT for business changes. Environment: COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, CICS, Easytrieve, Panvalet.
