Hi! I’m Mutaz, a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) consultant at Mitsubishi Chemical Group with over three years of hands-on experience in product-level sustainability and practical research. I believe that understanding the full environmental footprint of a product, bottom-up, can spark meaningful change and drive effective climate strategies.What I Do? 1- I partner with customers and suppliers across the value chain to meet our/their sustainability targets, using data-driven recommendations to guide process improvements. 2- I lead ISO-compliant LCA studies in tools like LCA for Expert and openLCA, thanks to a strong track record in rigorous primary data-collection methods and research of secondary data. 3- I critique and contribute to LCA standards, especially around product carbon footprint calculation, to help sharpen industry guidelines and ensure methodological consistency.A Little More About Me: I trained as a mechanical engineer and completed a dual Master’s, Renewable Energy Modelling and Process & Bioprocess Engineering, through the Erasmus Mundus “ME3+” program.
