Most recently I worked the City of Tampa Elections & Runoff Elections. I\'ve also been asked to be considered as a Trainer in the next election cycle starting in the early part of 2020 for the Presidential Preference Primary, March 7, 2020.I was offered the Clerk (Manager) position for the 2018 Election and also worked the Early Voting in the Primary and General Election where I was Assistant Clerk. Many of the policies, procedures and technologies are different in early voting from election day voting. I also participated in the recount efforts in 2018 as an auditor. In prior elections to 2018, I was the Assistant Clerk which is a position that is ready to also serve as Clerk in the event that the Clerk is unable to do so- Prepare and pack up precinct(s) for Election Day or Early Voting including setting up iPads, DS200 Voting machines, Privacy Booths, Signage, and other format protocols- Answer questions by poll workers or voters including updating voter information, voter registration issues, provisional ballots, finding voters in database to make sure that every voter can vote- Maintain orderliness of the voting process including maintaining voter privacy protocols- Assisting voters with disabilities in the voting process.I also served as a Technical Specialist on several occasions whose duties include- Setting up the DS200 and handling any technical difficulties or errors with the machine- Setting up the E-Poll Books iPads for poll workers- Laying down all the wiring for technologies used in the voting process- Transmitting and delivering results to the SOE- Facilitating Voters in submitting their ballots.I have also performed other functions during early voting periods that last for two weeks for duties or positions of Voter Check in Inspector, Voting Floor Supervisor, Early Voting Ballot Box Inspector, Ballot Issue Inspector, and Deputy which involves being deputized by the Sheriff\'s dept. and administering the Oath to staff.
