ABOUT MUSLIMA MIAH
Greetings, my name is Muslima (IPA pronunciation:/ˈmʊzlɪmə/). I am currently a Strategy and Policy officer at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, working as part of the Scrutiny and Equalities team leading on the Women\'s Commission.I graduated from UCL in 2021 with a 1st in Anthropology, focusing on the Medical Anthropology stream. My interests are within the public health sector re: health determinants and racial inequalities, especially how we can create collaborative solutions which allow for more integrated care, at a community level. I am also passionate about coaching and how inclusive conversations can empower colleagues to overcome obstacles and highlight their lived experiences, especially in the context of minoritised communities.
