ABOUT MUSHTAQ KHAN

I currently work for Housing Diversity Network. Our main aim is to make organisations more inclusive, make our communities better and improving people\'s life chances. Most recently I have worked as a Director in a housing association working in some of the most disadvantaged parts of the county. The focus of my work has been about helping people overcoming the challenges that they face both inside and outside their home. My special areas of work are- Housing services and community regeneration activity including cohesion, employment and skills- Strategic thinking and policy development in areas such as housing and economic strategy and new business- Project management and ensuring that financial and operational imperatives are met- Social business work centred on employment, supported accommodation and homelessness - Diversity and Inclusion and ensuring that organisations deliver the best possible services to all sections of the communityI worked for a range of organisations in my career, and now run my own consultancy business. My best work is with others - I have led large staff teams and helped develop the vision, strategy and values to take organisations forward. I have excellent communication skills and have spoken and written for a wide variety of audiences.
