As a Police Officer at UWPD and Executive Director of Somali Bantu Rising, I strive to lead with purpose, integrity, and compassion—on duty and in the community.My journey began as a refugee from Kenya, navigating new languages and cultures while building a foundation of resilience, discipline, and leadership through soccer and education. I graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in Communication and a minor in Business, balancing academics and athletics as a student-athlete. These early lessons in hard work and accountability continue to shape how I serve and lead today.In law enforcement, I focus on building trust, protecting communities, and always striving to be a better officer. As a community leader, I lead efforts to empower youth and families through education, cultural connection, and social support.Every role I take on reflects my commitment to growth, service, and paving the way for the next generation.
