In particular those to do with reducing work related benefit dependency in the worst performing neighbourhoods and supporting local workless residents into sustained employment.Ensuring that the learning from the service is shared widely with local partners.Contributing towards an organisational culture based on the values of service quality and equality.Offering access to migrant residents and supporting them in overcoming their barriers to employment.Providing a one to one employment support to clients from A2 and A8 countries Caseload management and arranging regular meetings to review and progress action plans.Achieving all performance targets and related KPIs as a minimum.Working closely with employment and skills agencies and providers operating in the borough.Appropriately making referrals to other services able to support clients’ in overcoming their barriers to employment. Initiating relationships with employers as necessary to support clients’ job search.Delivering ongoing in-work support to clients, and employers where necessary.Recording all work on Jobs for Haringey standardised paperwork.Developing innovate examples of best practice and sharing these with team members and partners as appropriate.Effective contributions to formal and informal Officer(s) and Member meetings, providing accurate advice and information as required and preparing and delivering reports for Council committees and other meetings.Representing Haringey Council at external partnership meetings as appropriate.Working remotely effectively as a confident self-starter. Maintaining effective partnerships with partner VCS organisations.Ensuring effective reporting on progress and performance, and contributing to overall Connected Communities Project Steering Group and governance structure as required.
