Education has the ability to transform lives- both the lives of students and the lives of teachers. This is true at all levels of education— from preschoolers who are just learning to read, all the way up people in their 80s taking classes to learn new things and keep their brains strong and flexible. Getting to participate in peoples’ education is both a blessing and a responsibility— and I’m still glad to get to be a teacher 16+ years in.
