POST Commission (Peace Officer Standards and Training)The Massachusetts Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Commission was established as part of a criminal justice reform legislation in 2020. The mission of POST is to improve policing and enhance public confidence in law enforcement by implementing a fair process for mandatory certification, discipline, and training for all peace officers in the Commonwealth.As a key contributor of the IT backbone of POST commission, my achievements include- Established Snowflake database from scratch for disciplinary records, personnel data and data received from other agencies- Migrated processes from Microsoft Access to Snowflake by creating views that replicated over 20 queries in Access- Created applications in C# that fetches data from API endpoints of different federal and state agencies and uploads the data to Amazon S3 bucket- Implemented ETL processes that involves data exchange between agencies using multiple platforms such as Salesforce and Snowflake- Maintained documentations of multiple operations and basic use cases for Snowflake database
