   Engineering Productivity TransformationI built and scaled an 80+ person Engineering Productivity & Quality group across Santa Clara and Bangalore. The focus was to move the company away from manual, fragmented workflows and into a fully automated, data-driven ecosystem. Along the way, we cut engineering costs by about 40%($13M → $8M) through smarter infrastructure use, vendor consolidation, and overall productivity improvements, while also increasing execution speed and automation maturity across the org.AI-Driven Automation (TestAI)I led the “Automate the Automation” initiative and launched TestAI, our generative AI system that creates test plans, triages flaky failures, and generates test scripts. This increased engineer productivity by roughly 50% and brought AI-driven automation into all major pipelines—pre-submit, nightly, staging, and release—so the system essentially improves itself over time.Release, CI/CD, and Scale ExecutionDesigned our CI/CD pipelines so every PR runs automated verification, 4-hourly scale tests, and nightly staging validations. This made releases faster, more predictable, and much higher quality. As a result, we reduced Customer-Found Defects from 80+ to around 8 to 10 per month, cut E2E flakiness from 75% to 15%, and sped up regression cycles while supporting more features and release branches.Metrics-Driven, People-Focused LeadershipI introduced DORA, SPACE, and DevEscapes metrics to keep engineering performance tightly aligned with business goals.
