Accountable for enhancing the entire process by being involved in gathering requirements, analysis, architect, design, and developing of Rest APIs for mobile applications. Converting monolithic services to a microservices architecture. Designing and developing scalable REST services using Microservice Based Architecture with Spring Boot. Migrated some of the microservices from IBM Bluemix to Azure. Worked on solution design and implementation of Confluent Kafka Streaming platform, Kafka JDBC Source and Sink Connectors to process real time push notifications to iOS and android platforms for some of the important application features. Established excellent coordination with API/backend engineers to improve the quality of backend APIs and assist in establishing best practices/processes. Ensured implementation of Redis for caching the application data to improve performance of the application. Collaborated with external KP teams to consume web services for various features.
