A chemical engineer with 14 years’ experience in the minerals industry in an advisory/consulting capacity. Experienced in working with both project owners and financing institutions in all stages of a mineral project’s life cycle, across the full range of minerals including gold, base metals (copper, nickel, cobalt, zinc), coal, phosphates, iron ore, chromite and ferrochrome, PGMs, rare earth elements and oil & gas. Possesses a unique combination of technical, economic, financial and valuation skills. Possesses a strong understanding of the regulatory environment governing the public reporting of mineral resources and the valuation of mineral assets. My passion is in helping projects owners and investors get the maximum bang out of their buck invested in mineral projects. This is either in supporting investment decisions or advising on project development, both activities often requiring me to undertake economic valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, technical reviews, testing of impairment models and metal accounting.
