Ensuring full compliance of Company’s Health & Safety Policy on the Project. To advise on the provision a safe working environment for employees by following to the Company’s Safety Standards and Procedures. Review job specific JSA & Lifting plan before starting the activity. Work with Project Leader / Project Manager to ensure that adequate safety advice and resources can be provided to their area of responsibility. Closely monitor site activities on daily basis, issuing non-compliance and submit reports to the Projects Leader. Planning and conducting daily, weekly & monthly safety inspection. Advice and support management at all levels on Health, Safety & Environmental issues. Conducting and participating in Project Safety Meeting. Actively participate in Safety Committee Meeting and advice where necessary to meet the identified short falls. Encourage Project / Site management to produce ‘Near miss’ reports and advice management for improvement. Investigate accident & Near miss. Provide monthly health and safety reports at meetings. Identify safety-training needs and conducting training for contractor employee. Ensure that permit to work is effectively carried out at the workplace.
