Design routes for the synthesis of new chemical targets with potential application in OLED technology.• Explore transition metal-catalyzed cross coupling reactions (Suzuki, Sonogashira, Heck, Negishi) as key steps for the synthesis of assigned targets.• Optimizing the proposed chemistry to prepare the targets in required amount (5-100 grams).• Isolation and purification of the synthesized compounds (acid/base extraction, manual and automated flash column chromatography, crystallization, distillation).• Characterization using analytical tools (LC-MS, GC-MS, NMR, HPLC).• Problem solving, client communication, project timeline and updates.
