I\'ve spent 20 years building enterprise software, with my most recent roles at ServiceNow and ServiceTitan, where I scaled engineering teams and built platforms that processed $300M+ monthly.On paper, we were wildly successful. But there was this thing that kept bothering me. The software we built was making people\'s jobs harder, not easier. I\'d watch project managers burn hours every Tuesday filling out status forms that nobody actually reads. Field supervisors tapping through the same screens for the 20th time that week because \"that\'s just the workflow.\" It all worked, technically. But it felt backwards.That\'s what led me to start Simple. I wanted to build software that actually does the work instead of just tracking it. You tell it what needs to happen, upload a document, and AI agents handle the execution. No training overhead, no paying for seats that sit empty.We rebuilt the stack from the ground up with a schema-first architecture, which lets us deploy in 10-14 days instead of the usual six-month cycles. The tools look different for a construction company versus a hotel chain, but the execution model stays the same.Our customers span construction, hospitality, and industrial operations. They\'re all dealing with what I saw firsthand at my last companies - drowning in too many systems, starving for actual results. Some have cut operational costs by 40-60% while improving execution quality.I\'ve led teams through an IPO and founded two startups that got acquired (Tivitie and GovIQ). But this feels different. For the first time, I\'m building something that replaces the model I spent 20 years perfecting.The traditional seat-based software model doesn\'t have much runway left. AI can execute these workflows directly now, and you can see it starting to happen everywhere.
