Science and tech always got my curiosity raging - from opening up appliances in childhood to understanding DNA replication, from understanding how medicines work to dabbling in AI/ML - it has been an awesome journey. Realizing that healthcare is a fundamental human need, I have always felt humbly-proud to contribute to an industry that brings innovative medicines into existence. With close to 20 years of industry experience currently I am leading a group comprising of data management and database programming teams for early phase trails, clinical coding team and a team catering to late phase trials. My responsibilities include portfolio oversight, people development, functional resource management, leading or contributing to improvement projects and change management. As a leader I constantly try to keep myself agile by going through learning-unlearning cycles, to keep up with changes in technology as well as refine my mindset. I believe this is necessary to be able to lead my team effectively and contribute to their development, as well as my personal excellence.
