I\'m a data scientist, mechanical engineer, and an automotive enthusiast with a background in machine learning and vehicle dynamics and safety. I started out my career working with automotive manufacturers to leverage statistical methods and machine learning algorithms in order to assist in the creation of safer vehicles. Now, I\'ve stepped out of the automotive space exclusively and aim to apply ML methods to provide solutions for government clients.I couple my technical knowledge with soft skills gleaned from a decade of community organizing, management and strategy. Community work has made me passionate about understanding the people behind the data, which has led to a passion for Natural Language Processing and finding value in unstructured text data. I\'m all in when it comes to using that new information for the greater good.
