The project focuses on the investigation of phase tuning characteristics of ring resonator-based semiconductor lasers, with the objective of enhancing modulation bandwidth, relative intensity noise, and tuning stability through experimental characterization and algorithm development for better optical communication.For applications in silicon photonics, this research contributes to the optimization of heterogeneous integrated lasers for next-generation Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs).Responsibilities: • Developing tuning algorithms for phase control in micro-ring resonators • Conducting experimental characterization of heterogeneously integrated lasers • Analyzing the impact of phase tuning on laser performance and stability
