ABOUT MUNEEB ANJUM
I’m a part-qualified ACA trainee with around 2 years of experience at DRG, where I work across a broad range of accounting and tax-related areas. My day-to-day work includes preparing statutory financial statements, tax computations, completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations, posting journals, and supporting audit and year-end processes.Working in practice has given me exposure to multiple clients and different business structures, which has helped me build a solid understanding of core accounting principles and the importance of accuracy, organisation, and meeting deadlines. I regularly liaise with colleagues and clients to resolve queries and make sure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.Alongside my accounting training, I hold a Master’s degree in Biotechnology. While it’s a different field, it’s given me a strong analytical mindset and a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving, which I apply daily in my accounting work—particularly when dealing with detailed data and compliance-driven tasks.I’m keen to continue developing within general accounting and tax, building on my technical skills as I progress towards full ACA qualification and take on greater responsibility. I’m always open to connecting with other accounting and finance professionals.
