ABOUT MUNAWAR S.

I’ve always been interested in how organisations serve people, across the entire customer journey. Not just for the end customer, but for the teams delivering the service and the environments they work within. Over the past 20 years, my work has focused on embedding customer experience and engagement into how organisations operate, particularly within complex transformation programmes. This has involved shaping operating models, establishing governance, and using technology to turn customer insight into clear, measurable action. A consistent thread in my work is applying customer thinking in places where it’s not always visible, such as shared services across finance, technology, HR, and legal. In these environments, I focus on reconnecting delivery to the customer experience, so that service quality, accountability, and outcomes remain clear and measurable. My experience also extends beyond traditional corporate settings through my work with Humanity First. There, I’ve worked with teams in very different, often resource-constrained environments. Across all contexts, my approach remains the same: I don’t differentiate in how I define a customer. That consistency helps ensure services are designed and delivered with the same level of care, clarity, and accountability, regardless of geography or circumstance. More recently, through my work with Hibdigital on global ServiceNow programmes, I’ve supported the development of capability across diverse groups. Many individuals bring deep expertise from specialised or academic backgrounds. My focus is on building on those strengths, connecting transferable skills to practical application, and helping people apply them effectively in real organisational settings. At the core of everything I do is a focus on strengthening the connection between people, process, and technology, so organisations can deliver better outcomes by enabling individuals and teams to operate with clarity, purpose, and context.
