ABOUT MUNAF MAREDIA

I am currently a Data Engineer at ZenBusiness. I manage the extraction and loading of data from source to destination. Previously, I worked with our finance team to create a financial ledger which would tie back to Stripe to achieve higher quality revenue recognition, and with our marketing team to provide brand attribution data, and conversion data from various social media to reduce our ad spend. In a past life I was a Technical Lead at CGI after Sense Corp\'s M&A. I worked closely with our clients providing expertise in data and digital technologies primarily with a focus in Data Engineering, Rapid Application Development, and Cloud Computing.I am an individual who values creativity which helps me solve the unique challenges proposed by our clients. I like talking to people and getting to know them on personal basis, and paired with my ability to deliver excellent results creates a great trust which my clients have in my capabilities.Growing up, I always had a passion for technology and business. I was always fascinated by how technology was implemented to reduce the burden on business operations. Throughout my career working with data I have noticed how data was practically a goldmine which can drive insights and really unlock potential for our clients, and with the addition of cloud computing the possibilities to change not only how businesses operate but how insights are generated is now endless.Outside of my professional life I enjoy reading new books especially on new skills that I may want to cultivate such as gourmet cooking. Having been an athlete pretty much all my life I play all conventional sports (football, basketball, etc.) but I also love trying new sports like cliff-diving, golf, and spikeball. Traveling and experiencing new cultures has always been a passion of mine, as such, I like to visit at least one new county a year to broaden my understanding of the world.
