Mumbai Oncocare Centre (MOC) is the largest chain of cancer daycare centres and registered hospitals in Mumbai & Maharashtra. It is a comprehensive facility for medical interventions in cancer care i.e. Oncology & Hematology. MOC has a team of 10 highly qualified medical oncologists (cancer specialists) & highly trained paramedic staff. It has 6 centres, namely at Borivali, Vile Parle, Sion, Ghatkopar, Thane & Nashik; each of these are equipped with 10 beds and capacity of delivering 25 chemotherapies every day and a semi-ICU backup. MOC has 2 cancer clinics at Malad and Mulund. Mumbai Oncocare Centre has an experience of delivering over chemotherapies as well as all forms of the advanced cancer medicines every year and over cancer patients have been treated at the facilities at all these locations put together. Dr. Vashishth Maniar (MD DM ECMO- GCRI), Dr. Ashish Joshi (MD DM), Dr. Pritam Kalaskar (MD DM), Dr. Kshitij Joshi (MD DM ECMO- GCRI), Dr. Udip Maheshwari (MD DNB, ECMO- RGCI), Dr. Pradip Kendre (MD DM- GCRI), Dr. Smit Sheth (MD DM ECMO- TMH), Dr. Sonal Dhande (MD DNB- Apollo), Dr. Mangesh Mekha (MD DM- GCRI) and Dr. Chandrashekhar Pethe (MD DM- GCRI) are our highly qualified medical oncologists serving patients at different locations in Mumbai & Maharashtra. All of them have an average experience of 10 years of clinical work in cancer care. MOC runs a clinic for Genomic Oncology and Centre for Hereditary (Familial) Cancers. We have a team of certified genetic counsellors who advise patients on genetic testing & familial cancers, counsel them for its importance and the best ways to deal with the implications. They also advice preventive and screening measures for descendants of cancer patients those having risk of developing cancer in their lifetime. Mumbai Oncocare Centre was the pioneer in getting Paxman Scalp Cooling Technique in Mumbai & Maharashtra in the year 2019. This technique is useful in preventing hair-loss for cancer patients taking chemotherapy. MOC now have 2 such machines and many patients have benefitted with it. Mumbai Oncocare Centre has instituted a charitable organization MOC Foundation that helps poor and needy cancer patients with financial and otherwise assistance. Many patients have availed benefits from MOC Foundation and completed their cancer treatment. We are expanding with our upcoming centres in South Mumbai and Pune in FY 2021-22 for convenience of cancer patients.
