ABOUT MUKTA PANDIT

Mukta is the Founder and President of Safal Partners, a mission-driven consulting firm motivated to support our public sector clients with a singular purpose—to accelerate positive outcomes for America’s students, workers, and communities. Our work ensures vibrant school systems and a globally competitive, future-ready workforce in the face of rapidly evolving change.Our recent clients include the U.S Department of Labor, Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), Texas Education Agency, Texas Workforce Commission, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Houston Endowment, George W. Bush Institute, National Charter School Resource Center, U.S Department of Education, Rhode Island Department of Education, Houston Independent School District, Trenton Public Schools, Kern Foundation,Teach for America Houston, Education Pioneers, Houston Endowment, Educate Texas, Austin District-Charter Compact, Houston A+, and America Achieves.Prior to founding Safal, Mukta was with the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation for five years, where she led the foundation’s expansion efforts in U.S. education and launched international giving in India and Africa. Mukta also led the development of MSDF’s portfolio strategy and drove portfolio analysis, measurement, and sharing of best practices for grants totaling over $160M. Prior to MSDF, Mukta was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co, where she led engagements in strategy development in the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Prior to McKinsey, Mukta served extensively in Information Technology.Mukta holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, where she graduated as a Palmer Scholar.
