   In my role, I guide the legal operations for one of the global leaders in education, publishing, and assessment services, where I take pride in handling a diverse array of commercial contracts. I ensure every contract aligns seamlessly with our company\'s goals and legal standards. Whether it\'s drafting, reviewing, or negotiating agreements, I approach each task with a strategic mindset, ensuring all legal aspects are thoroughly managed. My responsibilities extend across a broad geographic region, providing legal support and guidance to business functions in countries including India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea and others across Southeast Asia. Navigating the complexities of diverse legal frameworks, I ensure our operations remain compliant while enhancing efficiency. My role also involves offering critical advice on employment matters, intellectual property rights, and HR policy development, which has significantly improved business processes and ensured strict regulatory adherence. Litigation and dispute management are also key areas of my expertise. I have successfully led arbitration cases and managed relationships with outside counsel in India, consistently delivering favourable outcomes for the company. A particular highlight was the negotiation and closure of a high-profile celebrity endorsement contract, alongside a major supply contract, both of which contributed significantly to our business growth. Efficiency in legal operations is something I strive for, and I have standardized contract templates and procedures to dramatically reduce turnaround times. This not only speeds up our processes but also enhances overall operational efficiency. My involvement in Public-Private Partnership projects has also been impactful, where I’ve played a pivotal role in recovering substantial outstanding dues and ensuring the successful closure of key initiatives
