As a Physical Scientist (Water Use and Evapotranspiration Analyst - Natural Resource Specialist 3) at the Oregon Water Resource Department (OWRD), my work involves developing and managing datasets, tools, and processes to address key water management challenges across Oregon, estimating water use through remotely sensed evapotranspiration (ET) data and field measurements, managing user-reported water use data, and ensuring the production of reliable datasets for OWRD\'s critical functions.I will collaborate with a dynamic team to support water allocation, management, and distribution processes. I am also involved in projects like the ongoing update to the Water Availability Reporting System, contributing to Oregon’s efforts in sustainable water resource management.
