ABOUT MUJAHED ALHARTHY
I’m a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Calgary with a focus on mechanical design, analysis, and hands-on problem-solving. I enjoy taking a messy problem, breaking it down clearly, and turning it into a practical solution.Through 5+ engineering projects, I’ve built experience in areas like design, simulation, prototyping, and technical documentation. I like working where there are real constraints - time, cost, safety, manufacturability - and where good engineering comes from making clear trade-offs and backing decisions with data.I currently work at APS Inc, supporting pipeline monitoring, integrity, and safety, and I’m also part of a capstone wind turbine design project. Both experiences are strengthening my ability to collaborate with teams, communicate clearly, and follow through from early ideas to final deliverables.Overall, I’m motivated by engineering work that improves reliability, safety, and efficiency, and I enjoy contributing to teams that value ownership and continuous improvement.
