As part of the Retail Accounts Payable team, I was responsible for end-to-end invoice processing and vendor account management. My key responsibilities included: • Processing high volumes of invoices using OCR and EIW tools, while ensuring all mandatory validations and compliance checks were met. • Reconciling third-party vendor accounts and statements to ensure accurate balances and timely payments. • Addressing and resolving vendor queries and disputes with professionalism and efficiency. • Manually processing past-due, short-paid, and overpaid invoices within SAP, ensuring accuracy and preventing financial discrepancies. • Identifying and clearing SAP exceptions and duplicate invoice entries to maintain clean ledger records. • Conducting weekly reconciliations to proactively avoid payment delays and maintain smooth vendor relationships. • Collaborating with store managers and external vendors to resolve invoice and payment-related issues. • Managing reconciliation of gift card accounts and providing timely remittance details to stakeholders. • Taking corrective action by removing fintech vendors from payment terms when business needs required.
