Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental management systems in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASAWA).• Ensure compliance with UK legislation, including the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992.• Adhere to the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 (RIDDOR) by reporting incidents to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).• Ensure compliance with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) for equipment safety.• Implement the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) for lifting equipment inspections.• Manage hazardous substances under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH).• Conduct workplace safety inspections and risk assessments in line with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM).• Ensure manual handling safety as per the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992.• Deliver health and safety training, including induction and refresher courses, in compliance with the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 2022.• Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and occupational illnesses, ensuring corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).• Develop and update emergency response plans as per the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR) and Fire Safety Order 2005.• Conduct emergency drills and train employees on fire safety, chemical spills, and evacuation procedures.• Foster a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with the Safety Representatives and Safety Committees Regulations 1977.• Promote participation in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns.
