Data & Automation- Worked on an end-to-end automation project for a large insurer to integrate data from an accounting data store to general ledger and consolidation system, utilising Microsoft PowerApps and Power BI.Finance Transformation & IFRS 17 Implementations- Tagetik Consolidation: Worked with a large insurance and asset management company on the implementation of the tool to the group’s multi GAAP reporting requirements including IFRS 17, UK GAAP and Solvency II- Led data model design, end-to-end data sourcing and integration between source systems (Oracle Fusion and SUN).Chart of Account (CoA) Design- Worked with a large insurance and asset management company on the design of a multi GAAP CoA for Tagetik- Managed capture of business requirements and design of the CoA values.Reports Design & Testing- Worked with a large health insurer and specialist insurer to specify and test reports to be configured in the system (Tagetik and Oracle Fusion) related to financial reporting, regulatory reporting and key MI- Specified reports, coordinated with external system consultants on the system build, tested reports, prepared test scripts and provided UAT support- Performed root cause analysis for failed reports and proposed remedial actions.Financial Reporting (Including Process Improvements & Control Enhancements)- Worked on projects for multiple insurance companies to define and enhance the end-to-end financial reporting close process and controls, as part of a broader initiative to accelerate the Working Day Timetable- Defined key processes and controls across IFRS, UK GAAP and Solvency II reporting requirements- Worked with a Lloyds syndicate to provide support for annual financial reporting- Worked with a large corporation to design and build a centralised data repository for external financial reporting which housed all necessary information for annual report disclosures.
