Accomplishments include:• Led and finished an audit in the first 5 months of the role this involved: managing and allocating work to peers, finding innovative ways to gain assurance on aspects of the audit and communicating clearly with the partner and the client. I was able handle this situation, due to my prior extra learning on assurance procedures.• Completed a due diligence engagement from start to finish, over a 7-month period, for the acquisition of a company. This included analysing data, presenting this information for review to the manager and partner, writing the due diligence report and discussing how to represent data with the manager and partner for the final report.• Built rapport with key accounting staff such as financial directors and accounts managers to smoothly progress audits.
