I am a materials scientist and corrosion engineer with over a decade of industrial and R&D experience across the oil & gas, petrochemical, and advanced materials sectors. My core expertise lies in corrosion science, hydrogen embrittlement, high-temperature materials degradation, and protective coatings. I specialize in solving complex engineering challenges by combining deep theoretical understanding with robust experimental execution.Trained as a mechanical and metallurgical engineer (BS/MS in Mechanical and PhD in Materials Science & Engineering), I have led and contributed to numerous industry-focused R&D projects in Europe and Asia, targeting performance improvement and integrity in aggressive environments—such as those involving H₂S, CO₂, SO₂, NH₃, HCl, and molten salts (K₂CO₃, NaCl, KCl).My technical toolkit includes advanced characterization using SEM/EDS, EBSD, EPMA, TEM, XRD, XPS, XRF, FTIR, TDS, DSC, TGA, and a wide range of mechanical and non-destructive testing methods.
