Summary of my duties and responsibilities include the following-1. Updating and maintenance of internal audit universe by periodic performance of risk assessment exercise.2. Preparation of annual audit plan and ensuring its timely execution.3. Supervising and monitoring of annual audit plan execution by audit team.4. Reviewing and approving the audit program for each planned audit, providing guidance on the sample selection techniques.5. Reviewing the audit working paper files and draft audit reports.6. Conduction opening/closing engagement meetings with audit clients.7. Supervising, monitoring, and review of follow-up audit engagements.8. Review of proposed investment opportunities and feasibility studies to ensure their accuracy and that all the potential risks are covered and highlighted to management.9. Review of investments’ performance against the Investment Charter and Investment Policy Statement.10. Periodic performance reporting to the audit committee on the status of ongoing/completed audit engagements.
