Review RF Design proposals, board-level and firmware debugging, schematic PCB design review• Write technical requirements for UWB hybrid solution, finalize Antenna requirement for complex UWB systems• Conduct meetings with Software team to review progress, run UWB tests to fetch and review data • Finalize BPF, switches, antennas, IMU/Barometer/NFC Sensors, clock type, MCU/MPU• Review UWB chip specifications (Decawave/Qorvo, NXP), conduct meetings with chip manufacturers• UWB testing in dense RF environments to detect performance & range issues such as packet delay & multipath• Address Complex antenna design issues to meet antenna coupling challenges, • Use RF equipment to test devices (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, protocol/signaling testers)• Familiarity with simulation tools and/or circuit simulation capability such as ADS, scripting and automation tools for data collection/analysis.• Use Litepoint IQgig-UWB to perform time of flight calibration and dynamic range testing• Review regulatory requirements, carrier specifications, 802.15.4z, 802.11ax, 3GPP2, and their respective certification process. Make sure product exposures don’t exceed FCC limits
