ABOUT MUHAMMAD ISMAEL
I am a trainee secondary business teacher undertaking my QTS with PGCE at Bishop Challoner Training School, with a commitment to creating engaging, inclusive, and meaningful learning experiences for young people.My interest in teaching began through mentoring and tutoring, where I discovered the satisfaction of helping students grow in confidence and make sense of challenging topics. Since then, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how to break down complex business concepts, support different learning styles, and make theory relevant to real-world contexts through my practical experiences as a postgraduate student.Working with platforms like MyTutor, Sherpa, and Tutor Hunt, I’ve supported many GCSE maths and business studies students. I’ve consistently tailored my lessons to each learner\'s needs, delivered engaging and structured sessions using digital whiteboards, quizzes, and curriculum-based resources, and regularly communicated with parents to provide feedback and next steps. Several of my students improved by at least one grade band as a result of our work together.I’ve learned how to support students from diverse backgrounds, manage sessions effectively, and adjust my strategies to maximise learning - all of which I now apply to my teacher training and future classroom practice. I’m passionate about making business education meaningful, practical, and accessible to all learners, and I’m excited to continue growing as an educator.
