About Muhammad Ikram

Interdisciplinary researcher with expertise in nanotechnology, biosensors, molecular diagnostics, and nanomedicine, with a strong focus on translational research and product-oriented biomedical innovation. My training includes molecular diagnostics (Dravet syndrome screening), biosensor development, nanomaterials engineering, and POC device fabrication across University of the Punjab, NIBGE (PIEAS), ICCBS–University of Karachi, and South Dakota State University. My work on functional nanomaterials has achieved significant international citation impact. Currently at the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (JSNN), I am working on smart polymeric nanogels for targeted cancer therapy, while continuing efforts in scalable biosensing and POC diagnostic platforms. I aim to bridge academic research and real-world biotech and medical device applications.
