Possesses over 25 years of graduate level teaching and research experience in water resources planning & management, hydrology and environment, as well as in project management & professional practices; and over 15 years of experience of teaching undergraduate courses on Fluid Mechanics, Hydrology, Hydraulics, Calculus, Algebra and statistics in Bangladesh and an US university.Experienced in university administration in the capacity of Head of Deportment, Dean of Students\' Affairs, as well as Vice-Chancellor; Also experienced in research and teaching in overseas universities and development and administration of international academic linkage projects with foreign universities.Subject knowledge include civil & water resources engineering with specialization in hydrology and environment, optimization & mathematical modeling, project planning & construction management, preparation and evaluation contract & bid documents; evaluation and approval of large-scale infrastructure development projects.Possesses expertise, experience and interest in national level policy and planning issues related to infrastructure development & management relating to transportation, communication, water supply and sanitation as well as water resources, environment & climate change;Actively involved in social and professional activities.
