As a Task Officer and Step-Up Manager at Blakemore Logistics, I oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring everything runs efficiently and on schedule. My role covers a broad range of responsibilities including invoicing, stock management, task allocation, and delivery coordination to maintain seamless workflow and high operational standards.I lead and support warehouse teams, manage attendance and absences, and ensure consistent communication to maintain productivity and cover. I also conduct inventory checks, liaise with suppliers and transport partners, and take ownership of financial accuracy by processing invoices and verifying delivery records through internal systems.Once a week, I step up to manage the entire warehouse operation — overseeing shift performance, resolving issues in real time, and producing end-of-shift reports that track efficiency, safety, and housekeeping compliance. This dual role has strengthened my leadership, decision-making, and operational management skills while contributing to continuous improvement across warehouse functions.
