About Kelsey Mueller
With over a year of experience in UI/UX design and research, I am a passionate educator who transitioned into the dynamic field of creating intuitive and impactful digital products. I hold a UI/UX Design Certification from UMass Global and a Master of Education in Effective Teaching from Sposato Graduate School of Education. As the Lead UI/UX Design Intern at Nomie, I led the UI/UX design initiative for the platform overhaul, orchestrating a team to revamp the onboarding flow and profile page. I leveraged Jakob\'s ten usability heuristics to tailor user test scripts, facilitated feedback sessions, and analyzed user testing data comprehensively. I also mastered skills in information architecture, sketching and wire-framing, prototyping and testing, eCommerce and browsing, persuasive and anticipatory design, gamification and behavior change, dashboards and data design, social media, and messaging, and product lifecycle through four end-to-end portfolio projects with expert mentor oversight. Through my extensive teaching background, I bring a unique perspective that emphasizes empathy, communication, and user-centered thinking to UI/UX design and research. I have proficiency in leveraging digital tools, mirroring the importance of user education, and reflecting a deep understanding of user well-being – core principles in UI/UX design. I am adept at combining creativity with a user-focused approach, and committed to delivering aesthetically pleasing and functional designs that prioritize user satisfaction and engagement. I am excited to embark on this new journey and contribute to creating user experiences that seamlessly bridge technology and human interaction.
